Rich Beach

Rich Beach is one piece of the Nessebar area's mosaic of beaches on the southern Black Sea coast. It is a stretch of shore within easy reach of one of Bulgaria's best-known resorts, with simple access and the old town of Nessebar close by — a landmark you keep meeting on any walk through the area.

Sand and getting in The shore is covered with fine sand, pleasant to the touch, and the entry into the water is gradual — no sudden shelves, just depth that builds slowly as you wade out. It is the kind of shoreline that reassures cautious swimmers. On clear summer days the Black Sea here is generally calm, with small waves.

The fine sand and gentle slope make the beach suitable for families with children, who can paddle safely close to shore. The beach season covers roughly May to September, with the warmest weeks in midsummer. The Nessebar area is well connected by road to Burgas and the surrounding resorts, so it is easy to reach. As a practical note that holds for any open beach here: bring water, sunscreen and something to make your own shade, because the sand offers no natural cover from the sun.
