Nudy Pláž

Nudy Pláž lies in the Nessebar area on the southern Black Sea coast, one of the busiest and most popular stretches of the Bulgarian shore for summer holidays. It is a ribbon of sand within the orbit of a lively resort, with everything that implies: easy access, closeness to town and to the other beaches nearby.

Sand and getting in The sand is fine and comfortable underfoot, and the entry into the sea is gradual — the depth builds slowly, with no sudden shelves. It is the kind of shore you can ease into, friendly to anyone who would rather not be caught out by depth. On calm summer days the water here is generally settled, with small waves.

That profile of fine sand and a gentle entry makes the beach welcoming for families with children. The swimming season runs roughly from May to September, peaking in the height of summer. Nessebar is well connected by road to Burgas and the neighbouring resorts, so getting here is straightforward. As everywhere on the open sand of this coast, it's worth bringing water, sunscreen and a hat, since natural shade is sparse.
