About Plazh DYuNI
Duni Beach stretches below the Duni resort on Bulgaria's southern Black Sea coast, just south of Burgas, in one of the calmest and best-kept stretches of the shore. It is a wide ribbon of golden sand framed by dunes and greenery, with an unhurried mood well away from the crowds of the bigger resorts.
The sand here is fine and golden, easy on bare feet, and the sea entry is gradual: the water deepens slowly, staying shallow for a good distance out. That shape makes for relaxed bathing and suits anyone who isn't a confident swimmer.
The beach is best for families, where the gentle entry and soft sand are a natural fit for children. Along this coast the beach season runs roughly from May to September, with the warmest water in July and August. The easiest approach is by car from Burgas along the coastal road toward Sozopol, with seasonal bus links serving the area. Bring a parasol, water and sun protection, since the open sand catches strong midday sun. With a 4.6 rating, Duni keeps a very good standing among visitors.
