About Kavatsite
Kavatsite stretches south of Sozopol on Bulgaria's southern Black Sea coast, near the Duni area. It is one of this coast's long, open beaches, backed by sand dunes and a broad, airy landscape — more spacious than the small coves around Sozopol's old town.
Sand and getting in The beach is fine, golden sand, and the entry into the water is gradual, with the depth building slowly from the shore. That gentle slope keeps the water friendly for children and swimmers of every level. The southern Black Sea is generally warm in summer and has no meaningful tide.
Practical notes and who it suits Beach season runs roughly from May to September, with the warmest water around midsummer. The generous space and easy entry make it a strong choice for families and anyone who wants room to spread out on the sand. It is reachable by car from Sozopol and Burgas along the coastal road.
Because this is a long, open beach, bring shade, water and sun protection; check on site for the facilities available in season.
