About Kikki Beach
Kikki Beach is one of the livelier names along the Sunny Beach seafront (Slunchev Bryag), the largest resort on Bulgaria's southern Black Sea coast. The mood here leans firmly toward the party side of the resort: this is a stretch you come to for music, a beach bar and a day that slides easily into the evening, rather than for solitude.
Sand and getting in The shoreline is the golden, fine, pale sand typical of the long Sunny Beach bay. Entry into the sea is gradual, with a gentle, drawn-out shelf — the water stays shallow for a good few metres out, which suits both easy bathing and anyone who just wants to cool off between sets.
Practical The bathing season on the Bulgarian coast runs roughly from May to September, peaking for heat and crowds in July and August. Kikki Beach is best for visitors after a party atmosphere and a young, high-energy crowd — less so for families chasing a quiet day. Sunny Beach is easy to reach by car from Burgas or Varna and is well served by transfers and local transport, with the resort promenade lined by restaurants and shops. Bring sunscreen and water, and if you stay into the evening pack a light layer — the Black Sea breeze picks up after sunset.
