Cacao Beach is one of the marquee party addresses on Bulgaria's southern Black Sea coast, set within the Sunny Beach (Slunchev Bryag) zone. The name is shorthand for beach parties, and the spot has earned a firm reputation among those who come for music, beach bars and round-the-clock energy.
The sand is golden and the entry into the sea is gradual, the depth deepening slowly — a friendly shore for swimming and for long hours spent between water and sunbed. The sandy bottom and gentle slope keep bathing comfortable even when the open sea kicks up a swell.
By its very nature this is a beach for parties and socializing, not for quiet: it suits people who want atmosphere, events and full-throttle resort life. The season runs roughly May to September, cresting in July and August. It's an easy reach from Burgas or from the heart of Sunny Beach.
