Beach “Sunny beach”

Beach "Sunny Beach" is the central beach of the resort that shares its name — Slunchev Bryag, the largest resort on Bulgaria's southern Black Sea coast. This is the heart of the seafront: a wide, long ribbon of sand backed by the promenade, hotels and beach bars, buzzing from early morning well into the night. Its high rating reflects exactly that mix of generous space and energy.

Sand and getting in The shore is golden, fine, pale sand, laid out across a considerable width that leaves room to spread out even at peak season. Entry into the sea is gradual, with a gentle shelf — the water stays shallow for several metres, comfortable for easy bathing and for supervised children.

Practical The bathing season runs roughly from May to September, peaking in July and August. As the resort's flagship beach it suits anyone who wants to be in the middle of the action — parties, music, promenade life — yet the broad sands also leave space for a calmer day if you move away from the bar zones. Sunny Beach is easy to reach by car from Burgas or Varna, with frequent transfers and local transport; restaurants, shops and services line the beach. Bring sun protection, water and a light layer for the breezy evenings.
