This Orthodox place of worship lies in the Chepelare area, in the heart of the Rhodope Mountains, one of Bulgaria's wildest and most authentic mountain regions, famous for its conifer forests, traditional villages and Rhodope polyphonic singing. Very highly rated by visitors (4.9), it is a place of quiet reflection for locals and for walkers crossing the area.
