Πλαζ Μπουργκάς

The central city beach of Burgas, on the southern Black Sea coast. This is an urban beach, edged by the seaside park (Morska Gradina) and only steps from the city centre, so a swim here comes paired with the pleasures of a town stroll — shaded promenades, cafes and greenery right by the shore. It has the easy, lived-in feel of a city beach, used by locals and visitors alike.

The sand here is coarser and in places takes on the darker tone typical of the Burgas bay. The sea entry is gentle, sloping away gradually, with the depth building little by little — comfortable for relaxed bathing.
