Atlantis Bulgaria Beach

Atlantis Bulgaria Beach sits in the Burgas area on the southern Black Sea coast. It is a Burgas-bay beach with a fairly ordinary urban-coast feel, good for an unfussy day by the sea close to town.

The sand is on the coarse side, typical of this stretch of the bay, and the sea entry is gradual: the water deepens slowly from the shore, which means comfortable bathing without big surprises under normal conditions. On windy days the wide bay can bring light waves.

The beach suits families, thanks to that gentle entry. The coast's beach season runs roughly from May to September, with the warmest water in July and August. Access is easiest from Burgas, a city with rail and bus stations and good links to the surrounding coastal areas. As everywhere on open sand, it's worth bringing a parasol, water and sun protection for the midday hours. With a 4.1 rating, it's a decent option for a day at the sea near Burgas.
