About Radjana Beach
Radjana Beach is one of the small stretches of shoreline in Sveti Konstantin i Elena, the oldest resort on the Bulgarian coast, set just north of Varna inside a green park where pines and plane trees run almost down to the water. Unlike the larger complexes nearby, the mood here is calm and residential rather than boardwalk-busy.
The beach is golden sand, soft underfoot, and the sea floor shelves gently — the kind of gradual entry that reassures parents with young children. The Black Sea is less salty than the Mediterranean and warms up nicely through high summer, usually without big waves on ordinary days.
The swimming season runs roughly from May to September, with the water at its most welcoming around July and August. Radjana suits families and anyone after an unhurried beach day away from the bustle of the bigger resorts. It is easy to reach by car from Varna or via the resort's local transport. Bring an umbrella, water and beach shoes; check on the spot for sunbeds and drink stands, as these vary from season to season.
