Angel's Beach

Angel's Beach is among the best-loved stretches of sand in Sveti Konstantin i Elena, the park-like resort just north of Varna. The thick greenery — pines, limes, plane trees — that frames its little coves gives the whole shore an intimate feel, closer to a holiday in nature than to the crowds of the big resorts. Its high rating says something about how much visitors enjoy it.

The beach is golden sand with a gentle, gradually deepening entry — an ideal profile for children and tentative swimmers. The Black Sea here is fairly warm in summer and less salty than the Mediterranean, with small waves on ordinary days.

The swimming season runs roughly from May to September, with the water at its friendliest in July and August. Angel's Beach suits families above all, and anyone after a relaxed day by the water.
