About The Clock

"The Clock" is a beloved urban landmark in the centre of Burgas, on the southern Black Sea coast. It is a public clock that has become a classic meeting point for locals and a handy orientation spot for visitors, in the heart of the city's lively pedestrian area.

What to see and do Around the clock unfolds Burgas's street life: cafés, shops, period buildings and the buzz of the evening stroll. It is the kind of place where you arrange to meet someone, take a photo, then set off toward the other nearby sights. The landmark itself is modest in size but well known and easy to find.

Practical The Clock sits in Burgas's pedestrian centre, within walking distance of the train station, the port and the main shopping street. From here you can easily reach the Sea Garden (Morska Gradina) and the central beach, the Aleksandrovska pedestrian street and the café-lined squares. The nicest time is the evening, when the area comes alive. More of a useful reference point than a destination in itself — best combined with a walk through the city centre.
