Beach - Sveti Vlas

The beach at Sveti Vlas, a resort on the southern Black Sea coast set just north of Sunny Beach, at the foot of the hills where the Balkan range meets the sea. Sveti Vlas is known for its fresher air, carried on the breeze off the mountains, and for a slightly more refined feel, with its yacht marina close by. The beach stretches in front of the resort, within easy reach of the seafront and promenade.

The sand is golden, and the sea entry is gentle, sloping away gradually, with the depth building little by little — a soft shoreline, comfortable for relaxed bathing.

Good to know The swimming season generally runs from May to September. The gentle entry makes it a good fit for families and for those who prefer a calmer resort than neighbouring Sunny Beach. It is easy to reach by car or local transport from Burgas and its airport, or from Sunny Beach just a few kilometres away. Bring sun protection, water and your own umbrella if you want guaranteed shade, as facilities can vary along the beach.
